Can Someone Please Explain to Me....

...How one can get into college without knowing what "akin" means?
Or "oblique"?
Or "vested interest"?

Akin is when you're in so much pain you can't be bothered to make tense vowel sounds.

Oblique is what you say when you start to swear in the wrong company.

Vested interest is that hottie you like who's wearing a vest.

Ha ha!
(That would still be better than people asking during an exam. Especially when "oblique" is particularly useful in that class the student is taking.)
